Worth knowing

We want to make your stay as easy as possible. That's why we've compiled answers to the questions we get most often from our guests. Here you'll find all the practical information so you can spend your time on what matters: enjoying your holiday.

We look forward to welcoming you and your four-legged friend to our hotel!
Dogs are welcome in selected rooms, and we do our best to ensure that both two- and four-legged guests have a comfortable stay.

We kindly ask that dogs be supervised – both in the room and in public areas – and not left alone for long periods of time. Out of consideration for other guests, we expect your dog to be quiet and not to cause any disturbance.

Please also remember to clean up after your dog both inside and outside – and be careful that it does not cause damage to the room or the hotel facilities.

NOTE: A small fee will be added for staying with a dog.

If you are a guest with us, you will receive a link seven days before arrival, where you can easily book a table.
After that, we will open up reservations from outside - so if you would like to eat with us, you are of course very
welcome to book a table!

If you are a vegetarian, let us know and we will provide a green alternative.

Simply send us an email at food@hoteledelweiss.eu or call us on 2888 8622. We will respond as soon as possible and confirm whether there are any available seats. Remember to state how many people are coming.

The food is ready from 6:00 PM, and you are welcome to come and eat between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM.
The menu varies with the season, and we serve good, honest food - without any snobbery.

The menu can be viewed on the page here: https://hoteledelweiss.eu/restaurant/

We look forward to welcoming you to a lovely dinner.

No, the hotel dates back to the 1950s, when it was originally built as a farmhouse, so unfortunately we do not have a lift or rooms on the ground floor. The hotel is therefore not suitable for people with walking difficulties. We are always happy to help if you have any special needs or requests.

Yes, of course we have free parking, and 2 charging stations for electric cars. Also remember to have snow chains in your car, as it is a legal requirement..

Train: Find a train near you and get off at Wörgl Hauptbahnhof in Tyrol. The train goes from Hamburg to Wörgl and is called Nightjet. If you are coming from Denmark, you can take the night train from Hamburg to Munich and enjoy a good night's sleep along the way. From Munich, it is only an hour by train to Wörgl. The last part of the way is done by local bus, otherwise you can take a taxi, which costs about 20€.

Car: We are only 1,000 km from the Danish border, so you can also drive down here - a nice drive down through Europe.

Remember that you have to pay a small toll to drive on motorways and country roads in Austria. You need a vignette, which costs about 11.5€ for 10 days, and it can be bought at gas stations near the Austrian border. Alternatively, you can buy it online or via the ASFiNAG app. Just select your vehicle, enter the validity period, your registration number, and you are ready to go!

By plane: Hotel Edelweiss is easily accessible from three airports: Innsbruck, Salzburg and Munich. From the airport you can take the train to Wörgl, or rent a car if you prefer. We have free parking at the hotel, and 2 charging stations for electric cars.

The hotel is our home, so there is a good chance you will run into us if you are a guest at the hotel. However, we cannot promise that we will be available all the time.
